Mr. Hayek became a member of the Beirut Bar Association in 2021. His professional experience encompasses corporate law, banking disputes and litigation practice groups, with duties including conducting legal research, assisting in the incorporation of companies, drafting and reviewing legal documents, commercial agreements and legal memoranda, and assisting with various legal transactions.
Mr. Hayek is also involved in client advisory, where he analyzes case problems, interprets laws, develops tactics, understands rules and regulations, and assesses findings.
Currently, Mr. Hayek also serves as a Senior Legal Advisor at Transparency International Lebanon, where he advises citizens on anti-corruption matters and oversees legal case management.
Mr. Hayek’s expertise extends beyond legal practice, as he works as a public policy researcher. He writes policy reports and identifies potential solutions through research and analysis.
Mr. Hayek has also published several legal books that aim to help law students at the Lebanese University develop their legal thinking skills and approaches to solving cases.
With expertise spanning legal practice, public policy research, anti-corruption advocacy, and publishing, Mr. Hayek brings a multifaceted skillset. He received his law degree in 2020 from the Lebanese University and is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree in National and International Business Law at the Lebanese University and Aix-Marseille University.
